ECU Tuning Group- Anyone running their software?

Hey All,

New to the Cayenne. Just picked up an 04' TT and looking at doing software. Ran across these guys http://ecutuninggroup.com They seem to do some pretty high end vehicles with pretty impressive results and my local and trusted machanic swear by them. Software is also under $1300 retail. Seems to good to be true.. or is it?

Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm sure you'll get some other feedback, I don't have a tune on mine- however, I did a bit of research and I would lean towards Evomsit, particularly from Sharkwerks - even though they are on the higher end of the pricing spectrum. I think the biggest thing going for these companies is that they do complete setups with exhaust, intake, bypass and tune. It's my understanding that you are not going to see the "real" effect of these tunes unless you also are going to help your Cayenne breathe better. Evoms and Sharkwerks are a couple that have been around the block and can offer real world advice, plus they specialize in Porsche and not a tune for every make and model on the market like the guys your mentioned. I'd personally spend more for a tune from a company that not only has a few of these builds under their belt, but has also worked through the kinks along the way.

Since you're from the Bay area and a trusted mechanic swears by them, you should stop by their shop and speak with them. They have tuned a number of my cars and will always be the tuner I go to. The gains are terrific and the service is exceptional. They have always taken very good care of me every single time I step inside their shop. I cannot speak more highly about them.
