BC Coilover Install
NE usually more expensive than us in Southern States. If you are using air tools, and jacks, probably 6 hours-8 hours just one person. We do it in 5 hours including final adjustments followed by alignment.
RAC, I was in for an oil change on Saturday and asked Solomon about it. He just replied to my email. Seems a bit drastic. If I recall correctly, it's like 3, maybe 4 hours to install max. And that's with lunch after a night of drinking. And no air ride...my uncle works for Park Place so I may ask if he knows anyone as well.
Let me know (if it's no trouble) what Autoscope says. And BTW-I read that TTG post you built. That's one SICK puppy, shame it's gone!

And to anyone who reads this, I'm sure it's posted all over 6speed but make sure to get the PPI done prior to purchasing your Cayenne. I'm dealing with a headache right now that would have been solved by doing this.
Those should look badass on the blue. I actually saw your ride today when I was up there getting a pre-warranty expiration inspection and talked with Carson. That's crazy expensive for a friggin' alignment!

Cool that you saw my car up there... Ya not sure what 4 wheel alignments normally go for. I know it's more expensive at Lambo Dallas and Boardwalk Ferrari. I pay more for piece of mind, I'd rather pay more up front to make sure the job is done right and I dont have to pay someone else to fix their work or get wheels refinished after a cut rate shop does my alignment and messes up my wheels. Been there, done that.
I'm definitely anxious to see your ride, I might have to take a trip to up to AS to see it!
Otherwise I'll post pics of it tomorrow.
Here are a couple parking lot pics...

With your how many rides you've had, I'm going to take your word and order them today. That looks bada** man. I went ahead and bought the wheels so those should be here next week and hopefully I'll have the coilovers in the same time.
BTW-when you're ready to sell that, give me first dibs!

Rac3me, do you have any issues with bottoming out the upper A-arms on the upper part of the wheel well on sharp bumps at highway speed? I tried to go low on mine but had that issue so I had to raise it back up a little. This was not bottoming out the coilovers, but the actual A-arm hitting at the top. Yours actually looks a little lower than mine was when I had those issues. It did drive very nice 99% of the time, just bottomed out on those big bumps.
I'm also curious to see how it rides and if the upper arm really hits the body. I just checked on mine and if lowered I don't think there is enough room for the arm to move without coming in contact with the body. I'm ready to install my KW's but if it's really hitting the upper mount when going over bumps then I will hear my wife complaining all the time. Thanks,
Easy fix for the a-arm contacting the wheel well... raise it up a little higher! Keep doing that until it no longer hits. To be honest even with mine it would not hit unless it was a sharp bump at freeway speeds... did not happen very often. For city driving it was fine.
Still, I raised mine up a hair and it seems to be doing better.

After some time and about a thousand miles I have decided to raise it up a tad. I'm getting the same problem with the A arm that you guys describe. The ride is fine 99% of the time but it just needs a little more room for those big bumps.
