Coolant Pipe and Tires Questions
Coolant Pipe and Tires Questions
First of all, I am pulling a trigger this week to replace my coolant pipes (06 Cayenne S). I've been slacking off with this but since I need a set of new tires as well, I am going to do all at once. My only question is, what else needs to be replaced? I noticed that the "T" connector is a "must" to replace along with coolant pipes but are there 2 or just 1? It seems like Turbo has 2 "T" (P/N: 955-106-323-50 and 948-106-035-51 I think). I need a little help from people who have replaced this "T" connector in Cayenne S (please provide me with a P/N if you have it handy).
I also have 18" stock Turbo wheels that need a new set of tires. I currently have Pirelli and I have no complaints. Are there anything better (looking for A/S tires, unfortunately). Thanks!

As far as tires go I am very satisfied with the Yokohama Parada Spec-X all season tires .
Bought them from Damon at Tirerack. Tire is quiet and so far in the rain excellent traction. Reasonably priced too. Contact Damon at 888-727-8092 ext 643 he was very helpful

Thanks. I was actually looking at Michelin tires. I will take a look at them.
You are correct. There is no T connector on the normally aspirated V8.
As for tires, my favorite all around tire for the Cayenne is the Continental ExtremeContact DWS.
If you prefer sticking with N-spec tires, I really like Michelins.

Thanks guys. I guess coolant pipes are all I need to replace then. Anyone has Michelin Latitude Touring A/S? I really should be getting a set of summer tires but don't have extra wheels. I haven't had any issues with Goodrich, Pirelli, Continental, nor Michelins. I had PS2 on my other car and loved it.
On the other hand, I found this: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-06/105-25.php
P/N: 955-106-323-50 appears as (18) here. Am I safe to assume that this is TT diagram, not NA?
