I finally had the coilovers installed and I'm really impressed. The difference in the ride quality is remarkable, and I would absolutely recommend these to anyone. I'm still tweaking it but here's what it looks like today after a 3.25/3.5" drop-
Also, does anyone have any alignment specs after lowering their Cayenne on coilovers?
Nice, looks good!
At this height have you experienced the front upper A-arms bottoming-up inside the wheel wells going over speed bumps?
Thanks...nope, it doesn't bottom out here which is why I haven't gone lower. Some of the other guys have said that they've experienced it bottoming out, so I went about an inch higher than their setting.
It's roughly a 5" gap to close, which is a significant drop for the drive shaft as well, so you've got to take that into consideration. IMO any lower than a 3.5" drop and you'll start to have issues.
For mine I used the Cayenne GTS (steel spring) alignment specs to the more aggressive end for camber. Seems to do well and I have over a year on my BC Coilovers with nice even tread wear.

Thanks Reborn, I'll give the shop a call to try it out today since it's back there!

Hi David,
I know this is an old post, but do you recall what the actual camber settings were on your car, and how was the tire wear after the changes?
Thanks in advance
Sorry, I haven't had the coilovers with springs for several years. I do know it was the factory spec for the 2010 Cayenne GTS with steel springs that I used and the tire wear was great with my Continental Extreme DWS tires.
Lately I have been running a custom Auto Pilot V2 air suspension using a bag over coil setup on my BC Racing coilover shock bodies. Great setup for those of us who did not get the factory air option. I might be upgrading to the E-level controller since it is sensor based versus pressure based so a bit easier to maintain precise height settings.
Mind you my BC Racing coilover setup was done on my 2010 Touareg TDI... but using the Cayenne suspension since it bolted right up.

Hi David
Thanks very much for the reply. The setup you have now sounds like a very interesting option.
After an initial setup I have the rear camber within spec but it is proving difficult to get the front within spec as shown in the pics below.
If anyone has any comparisons/comments to share, that would be most appreciated.

Any updates on this thread? I recently purchased a Cayenne as my daily driver and i am entertaining the idea of putting a set of bc racing coilover's on the car. I ran these on my MR2 a couple years back as well as a s2000 that I used as auto-x car.. They rode really stiff and i actually ended up blowing one of the struts on the S2000.
Are they set as low as they can go in the picture?
