Porsche Jabs is infamous around these parts
Recently bought an 06 CTT and wanted to say hello!

I picked up my CTT last month. I have been really enjoying it. It does have aluminum coolant pipes (thank God) but other wise a stock truck. I am going to install some k&n filters and a 2nd cat bypass this week. Is there a difference between the fabspeed and the leistung ? Seems like it wouldn't matter, but you never know. I have been reading a lot of your old threads lately, and I thank you all for your input.

welcome and enjoy, do the cat delete, you might not want to get an exaust. spend the exaust money on an ecu flash and thank me later.

Thanks! I really like the sound of the Fabspeed and the Leistung cat bypass that I have heard on Youtube. Is there any difference in HP between the two.

Welcome and congrats on the pepper! To answer your question, there is no appreciable difference between the two cat bypasses - they are both straight mandrel-bend pipe in comparable diameter. They also both use hangers now.

Congrats on the purchase, it looks amazing !! Glad to here the coolant pipes were done. I would also consider doing a Clear Side Marker Kit. Clear turn signal housings, combined with an amber bulb allow your car to look great while remaining completely road legal.

Thanks for the link, I really like the look of the clear sidemarker lenses. Has anyone upgraded the plenum? Is it worth it?

I have and not really. Maybe it's the combination of parts I'm using. Helped a little bit with the throttle lag but that's about it. As mentioned before - do the tune first.

I really appreciate the responses. I have been reading through old posts and this forum is the most informative on the net. I think that I'll order up a Leistung cat bypass and either get some drop-in K&N's or maybe Leistung's air intake. Are the replacement intakes loud? That is a concern.

I wouldn't be as concerned by the loudness of the intakes as you should be of the cat bypass. Un-resonated, they are much louder than stock.

You can order either. You might want to double check.
