Lighted Door Sills Installation Instructions

Does someone have the actual manual from Suncoast or some other supplier for the installation for the illuminated door sills. I purchased from a person (without installation directions) and they work great after I installed them. I took the advice from this forum about connecting them to the footwell lights. I love the ease of this connection, the problem is that they stay on in the evenings while the footwell lights are lit (comfort lighting system). I don't want to have to turn my footwell lights off, so I am opting to connect them to the lights on the doors and not the footwell. I was hoping there was instructions about removing the door liner. Once I get that off, it's a no brainer 2 wire connection. Can someone advise either with the instructions or how to remove the door liner to access the light wiring? I just don't want to tear something apart in the door tring to remove the liner...

Actually, I found the post for the DIY and followed those directions. It works great, but like I said, the sills will stay illuminated at all times, not when the doors open and shut. I'm trying to rewire them to the door lights, and need help removing the interior door hardware and liner to get access to the light and wiring. I'm sure that's why they say it's a couple of hours per door if you wire per directions. Just need the actual directions. I think this is the link you were referencing which is what I followed: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...s-install.html

Did you ever end up doing this installation? How did it go? What do the rear sills look like? Thinking of ordering for our 2013 Turbo.

Never installed rear lighted sills. I didn't want to take the doors apart. I would probably end up with a rattle or something - so I ended up tapping into the rear main cargo light. Took a little work to get the wiring up and around the head liner, down the rear seat window pillar, and finally followed the under the trim by the rear and front sills to make my connection. The rear cargo light has the same two wire application, and the sills go off and on as you open any door, plus they go off at night when your foot well lights are running.
