I have an 04 CT and I would like to get a custom exhaust made that deletes the muffler, secondary cats, and potentially the primary cats. I am aware that I can spend several thousand to purchase the pre made parts, but I am interested in having a good quality, local shop fab the pipes. My goals are: k&n filters, straight pipe (or straight with primary cats) Upsolute ecu tuning, and potentially an IDP plenum. My questions are: 1. Do both primary and secondary cats have O2 sensors? 2. If I was to run a true turbo back straight pipe would I be able to eliminate cel's with the Upsolute tuning? 3. What are my risks? 4. Am i better off running primary cat back straight pipe? Sound and emission checks are not a concern where I live. Just concerned about potential engine damage or loss of power due to incorrect tuning.
