New to forum and aftermarket Amp help

I recently purchased an 06 Cayenne S which has an aftermarket subwoofer and amp installed but it isn't working. The Amp gets power but under the spare tire is a circuit board that looks like it was part of the stock setup and it is fried. How can I bypass that?

Thanks, but I solved it this morning at work. Bypassed what I am assuming was the stock amp that was fried and now everything is working. Just have to play with the settings some to get the sound where I want it.

The stock amp doesn't live in the spare tire well. The subwoofer (with it's housing and amp) if it was in the truck lives there. That's about as awful an install as I've ever seen. Things like the ScotchLoc connector/splices give me the ******* - they're trouble waiting to happen.

You probably also want to find out how water is getting into the spare tire well. Usual cause is the sunroof drains that go from the back of the sunroof to the rear of the car coming disconnected up in the roof area (requires pulling some of the headliner to get to.)

The interior was steam cleaned or washed by the dealer and some water got into the spare tire area that way. I had everything checked out as far as leaks go before purchasing. I have also rewired everything with the amp and sub. There is still a few things that I want to do but for now it's all cleaned up and working.

Now I'm kind of debating taking out the spare tire and building a box for the area to hold a single ten down there. But my first priority is getting bluetooth so I can use my iPhone 5 and stream music.
