Horn failure?

Our horn suddenly sounds like one that would belong on a Vespa. Still loud but it sounds more like a clown's toy than a car horn. Guess time to head to the dealer. Anyone hear of this??

It happened to me the first day I got my TT (996TT)...Apparently (at least on the 996s) the positioning of the horns way low in the front allows road debris or weather to damage them...covered by warranty

that never happened to me but once on my turbo, the horn was stuck and it was a long embaressing 20 minutes listening to the horn non-stop.

i forgot all about the annoying part....that was one time i wished my car had full tint on it. I hit the horn like an angry gramma so it sorta serves me right hiting the horn when i get the chance to
