957 Coolant Isssues

My 2008 CTT has had the seals around the coolant reservoir replaced and a leak repaired under the intake manifold. The smell went away for a few weeks but unfortunatly, I am beginniing to smell coolant again. It's frustrating because I love the vehicle but the smell is annoying and I doubt it is safe to continue inhaling the coolant fumes (albeit in small amounts). I'm under CPO so cost is no issue - just need to find the culprit of the leak. Search reveals plenty of known issues with the pre-2008s but has anyone else run into these issue with this gen? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

I have not seen any threads posted on this board with any coolant issues from the 957. I can verify firsthand, that Porsche changed the coolant pipe design on the 4.8.

What did your dealer service manager have to say? If it is appreciable, how much coolant is being lost?

I had the same issue with mine, good thing its still under warranty and they replaced all the seals. It was explained to me that most that were installed correctly but there was a slight pinch of the gasket during instalation and over time thats where it started to leak. Coolant is a very strong smell when it comes to odor the slightest drop you will be able to smell. When your car was leaking, the coolant reached into many small spaces within the engine and hopefully whoever fixed your car was able to clean off all the leftover residue. I would give it some time to let everything burn off, it may be just some left over. If the smell continues bring it back and have them do a leak down test
