If it's showing your distance in Kilometers, then it's possible it's calculating based on that. 33.8 KPG is about 21 MPG. Still very good, but more plausible.

The problem I see is that if the hours are correct then it kinda jives with the miles, but is about 3 years of driving 24 hours a day non stop

Just for more info in this thread. I went out and snapped a quick picture in the garage of this screen again.

Note. I just recently had to replace a "fuel purge valve", I have also towed a LOT with it recently including a trip from Colorado to New Jersey and back with a loaded car hauler! About 2500lbs empty on the way out and about 7700lbs of VW Eurovan on the way back (the uphil part)

Since I got back from that trip I've been running a 265/65/R18 tire. Which is about 2" taller than stock. So I'm traveling further than the tire is calculating. All of this is going to make it calculate low compared to my previous picture. Just posting the facts for a real comparison of use and conditions.

This is an 04 CTT, chipped, APR R1 BPVs, IPD Plenum.

Towing.

Tires.

Yeah.. I would agree- there is something wrong here. There is no way I was ever getting over 700 miles per fill up (22 gal tank). For the record, I think XR4Tim had the best explanation. It probably should have read about 21 mpg over almost the entire life of my CTT/S.
