thanks for the original thread and was wondering what I needed to clean my calipers; you read my mind.
how are you liking your car so far?
Let me know when you want the car clear bra-ed, my cousin can make a trip up to NJ for custom installation.

I love the car, unfortunatly I will have to wait on the clear bra until the insurance company for the jerk who hit my carrera on friday pays me back for the damages since I'm laying out the repair out of my car mod budget (Yes my wife keeps me on a budget, good thing too if you ever saw my stereo/home theater budget, I can get a little overboard).
So details on the Cayenne....
Slowly every little issue is being taken care of (i.e. cleaning the brakes)
I think the hesitation everyone feels is related to which gear the car is in. When I manually shift, no hesitiation, when I am in auto mode and punch it, I seem to have to wait for the transmission to figureout what to do and then shift gear. No big now that I understand how and why I can adapt my style to it(kinda like driving a turbo with turbo lag, you learn real quick how not to have much lag)
I'm leaving in about 10 minutes to have the front windows tinted so hopefully that makes the interior cooler.
I do have a slight vibration in the steering wheel at 70mph that started a few hundred miles ago. The dealer tells me I need to have the wheels balanced and mentioned that many Cayennes front wheels need to be re-balanced after the factory tires wear in.
So that's being done in a week or so.
That's about it...
Cheers,
Corey

excellent. I got my front window tinted to 20% and couldn't be happier. It really keeps the interior kewl.
thinking about tinting the rears and the back. I still feel 2 much light transmitting...

I just did 35% on the front. The guy didn't reccomend any darker than that or the police might have an issue in the post 9/11 world here in NY/NJ. I'll post a pic when I can.
The only bad part is in 4 years when I need an inspection I'll have to remove it and have it redone, but for $80 for the two front windows no big.
