955 Front Bumper Cover Compatability

Someone backed into my front bumper last weekend and broke it. I am thinking about changing the front to either a turbo front or other. Does anyone know what front bumper covers fit a stock '06 S? I know I see a lot of front end swaps in photos herein but don't see what will fit the stock front end.

Suggestions from the knowledgable are hereby solicited. If you've done a nose swap please contribute. Photos always help.

The 955 Turbo bumper will fit an S from what I've read.

That's it. Every other option (957) would require changing fenders, lights, etc.

That's what I thought also. Thanks.

I do think its a nice upgrade.

The S front just never looked right to me.

I don't mind people upgrading to parts that look better as long as they don't go slapping a "Turbo" badge on the back

+1 , I'm guessing the stock non-bulging S hood could be kept and switch just to the turbo bumper cover. I think it would be a worthwhile swap.

I always forget a out the hood bulges. I even hand wash my CTT and those things are just some sort of mental blank for me.

Which is strange because I'm REALLY into the design elements of cars.

So unless they really stand out to you or you find a deal on a Turbo hood I'd pass. Think the GTS rear spoiler and side skirts make a more visual impact.

I agree, the bulges are very cool but the bumper cover makes the bigger impact. I think it would be pretty cool & unique to have the turbo bumper cover and the "normal" hood

This all reminds me that I saw this a few weeks ago at Park Burger here in Denver. Since I hopped out of my Eurovan and took pictures I'm sure the guy just thought I was admiring his ride.

Making a couple changes is one thing but re-badging is a whole other situation

I totally agree.

The thing is Those that know what it is and if it matters, KNOW! Those that don't, don't care!!"

No reasonable car person isn't going to fault someone for putting on the better looking part. The badge though...that is different!

I've been looking for some European only RS6 bumpers and side skirts for my wife's S6 Avant Widebody. My buddy was harassing me for "trying to make people think its an RS6" Ugh.....NO! It will look like a really cool S6 Avant since the RS6 Avant NEVER came to the USA and nobody would know what the hell it was anyway. It will retain the S6 badge too...

Absolutely, i think sourcing "nicer" parts from within a brand is great. If you can get your hands on those bumpers/skirts that would look awesome!

I'm sure that no one will believe this but I saw a black E60 5 series BMW a few months ago with a 750i badge on it. The car was actually very clean and nice looking.... I guess to each their own. I swear, I wish I would have taken a picture!!!

I ordered the turbo bumper cover. It should be in next week for the shop to get the work done. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will fit without issue.
