Talking Cayenne Class Action officially announced?

Hi everyone, just received these forms via e-mail. Looks like the process is started for the coolant pipe class action.... only took 3+ years.

Unfortunately this settlement won't really do anything worth your time if you didn't buy CPO from a Porsche dealership. Non-CPO settlement gets you $375 off getting the work done but only if you get the service done at a dealer, which is already plenty overpriced compared to an indy shop even with their $375 contribution. It's a relatively easy job to do, just very time consuming.

My pipes literally just burst last week and the starter went out as well, just doing the work myself for the cost of parts. Now it would've been nice to see them give some sort of discount towards the cost of the parts and have you work out who does the labor on your own, but I see where they're coming from with trying to keep the cost of this settlement to a minimum. As a matter of fact, I'd assume they're actually making money from the settlement moreso than losing money, since you "have" to get the work done by a service dealer.
