Airbags after deployment

I purchased a Cayenne 955 V8 with deployed driver/passenger airbags, along with the locked rear passenger seat belts.
I have currently removed the driver side airbag. Currently the battery is disconnected, but I did connect it and started the vehicle with no issues (have not checked codes yet). The thing I am worried about is if I install the new airbags and seat belts, will the airbag computer module deploy the bags and lock the seat belts?

Should I remove all the airbags and locked seat belts, then go to the dealership and get the module reset and then install the new parts or install the new parts (hoping the airbags don't go off and lock seat belts) then go the dealership to set the module?

Buy a new airbag module?

What should I do?
thank you

I believe car was crashed, and in that case you have to change open airbags, and all locked seat belts.
And airbag module can't be reset by dealer, coz it was locked after the crash. So the only chance is to change it wit new one, or get your old one to some shop which repairing airbag modules.
I would do that for you, but I believe I'm a bit to far for you

Yes, vehicle was in a crash.
I will buy a new module. Once I get the new module, is it plug n' play or does the new module need to be programmed to the vehicle?

Let's say the new module is ready to install, do I install the module first then install bags and belts, or bags and belts then module, plug in the battery, ave should be good to go?

Worst case get an aftermarket steering wheel, but would like the belts unlocked.

Thank you again

If you buy module with exact the same numbers, or if you order it by VIN, it should be plug and play.

First you have to change all damaged parts (airbags, seat belts), and on the end install airbag module.

Is this the same procedure for other vehicles that have been deployed?
Can you reset modules? I could ship them off.

Yes it is the same procedure for almost all vehicles. And yes I can repair almost all airbag modules if, they don't have some serious internal damage. You can send me picture of module to me, and I'll tell you if it's repairable or not.
