Maybe you better spend the $1900

Just to give an update in the cayenne exhaust and to close out whats going on. I have decided against the exhaust on the cayenne, no since in dumping a ton of money on this vehicle just for a few HP. However, I have devoted my time and effort to my new truck and hope to eventually turning it into a beast. Hope to get it up to 300-400 HP and about 650-800 ft lbs. But back to the original point, When it comes time to update the cayenne I will be looking at a Turbo/S.

I would but I am going to wear this one out first, havent put but about 4000 miles on it since I got it in Nov of last year. I will probably end up waiting til about 10 years from now and see what the market looks like. The wife likes it to much.

If you search this forum there's a ton of topics on exhaust and bypass pipes.

The only reason I revived this one is so in a few months or years someone doesnt come back and wonder where I ended up taking the mod. I can see someone posting, "Did anything get done about this?"

Seriously, look into the Sebring Tuning dual 14" chrome plated cans. The growl my 2005 Cayenne S makes(with cold air intakes and no cat delete), still sounds like a Jeep Cherokee SRT-8. No joke, the sound is intoxicating; flows freer, with the perfect amount of back pressure. The best $900 ever spent!

Sorry for the redundant photo re-post...I completely forgot I contributed previously!

One of my Leistung by-pass pipes cracked right in half and the hanger on the other one broke off. Had them on about a year. Not good.

My CS is in the shop now getting a custom Magnaflow dual set up. There's a couple others on here that have went this route.

I'll have a magnaflow system installed on mine tomorrow evening. X-pipe, mufflers, new tips and all the install for less than $600. Was hoping to keep it under $500 but hadn't planned on the tips and X-pipe originally. After looking at how the stock tips are made I went with just a regular set of rolled edge dual tips. Can't wait to hear it uncorked!!

It's got the odd almost rectangle turbo tips. Not sure the tips I bought are going to look quite right since the cutout in the bumper fits the turbo tips. But if not that'll be an easy swap later on.

When I was thinking about doing the exhaust swap, before I got my new toy, I was going to use the stock tips (turbo) just because 1. they look good and 2. anyother tips would just look stupid, Im not going to have a big tip to fill up that space that looks like a sewer pipe. But Since I got my new toy I will be putting 4 inch turbo back dual straight pipe.
