idler pulley replacement

idler pulley replacement
I have a 2006 CS with 68K miles. My mechanic says the left idler pulley needs replacement. Should I replace both idler pulleys, the tension pulley and the serpentine belt at the same time? What about the tensioner shock?

Well, I would ask the mechanic who has already inspected your equipment. The belt may, or may not, need replacement now but it will so while you're in there - I would. As far as other pulleys, I would only do them all if they showed sign of need.
