trading cayenne for jeep srt8 maybe??

I know the cayenne is a porsche and all. But the numbers on the jeep srt8 are undeniable sub 5 second zero to sixty. Center exit exhaust. All for around 50k. I drove the srt10 ram quad cab and was impressed. The torque was amazing but the quality was also a shocker. What do you guys think? I also heard it might be faster than the ml63. Although I find that hard to believe from a business standpoint.

Truck? If you want speed in staightline, a GMC Cyclone did 0-60 in 4.3 sec back in 1990.

Yea seriously . . .the SRT8 grand cherokee?? first of all they dont even have any real numbers for it yet . . .all it says is under 5sec 0-60 . . . .It definatly wont handle as well as the Cayenne either . . .my little brother drives a the 5.7L Hemi GC and its quick and way better than previous GC but its still no where as refined as the Cayenne . . . .you might as well look at the Trailblazer SS with the 6.0L V8 does 5.4 to 60mph and is equally as boring as the Jeep . . . . .

It's hard to imagine Porsche to Jeep. However, if you only have a Cayenne or a Cayenne S and you have the urge or need for speed than the Jeep is faster of course. But like most Porsche owners its not just about speed, but a lifestyle. Than you wouldn't get a Jeep.

I would never trade a Cayenne for an SRT8. Why? because one is a porsche and other is a Cherokee. That reason is enough.

I actually like the looks of that new SRT8 jeep that is coming out

Obviously the inside isn't going to be as nice as the cayenne... just get whatever you think will be best for you! It might actually be nice to have something else for a change

I am actually getting rid of my Cayenne S in about two months (or less) because I ordered a Nissan Titan truck... just to show you what kind of change I am committing too!!

Yeah

I am starting college next year, I most definitely won't be able to drive the Cayenne to whatever college I end up going to. Its not the same here in Arizona as it is in California or Boston, 98% of the time when I am driving I have the nicest car around!

I don't want the car to get keyed or something when I park at college. People would mess with the car for sure!

Besides, I will hopefully be able to buy myself a Cayenne Turbo before I get out of college and live in my own house, and by then the updated Cayennes will have been out for awhile and all of the kinks worked out!!

Well I think I'm making a good choice, and hope that I am!
