Just had mine installed. Sounds like the sport exhaust that came on my 02 911 and my low end boost is way better. I also installed piper cross performance air filters which I highly suggest. It's like a different car with the combo.

i got a 957 CTT and just installed the full 3'' bypass pipe, mid section with xpipe and sr1 muffler from Hank. Cant believe there is still clearance issue on the driver side.(BIG THX to Kent and the washer method)

Like every member said, the bypass pipe is a must do. it's night and day. less turbo lag and better boost on low end.

I'm not happy with the system.
1. clearance issue. (It's ok, simple fix) Hank claimed the problem had been sloved, but still happened on mine.

2. the sound level in cabin didnt change much which is good, but i dont like the 'drone'. it happened bwtween 1500-2000rpm. my wife and i have to raise our voice to talk. After talking to R.M (Kent), he didnt suprise the drone on this system due to the 2 long tubes that connect to the rear muffler. Kent also suggested adding 2 resonators on those long runs to eliminate the drone, that will be my next step.

3. the sr1 muffler didnt sound right. It's obviously louder than stock, but just sound like Ford pick up truck. Also the muffler hanger wasnt long enough to reach the mounting bracket. i've to weld a extender

Overall, Hank offer the least expensive exhaust system. For little over 2k you get full 3'' 304 stainless steel BP, mid section with Xpipe and a muffler. no complain, but i would save up for a nicer muffler like tubi, akrapovic supersprint or kreissieg. i've heard a gts with just kreissieg muffler only, sounds so amazing

for any member who want to place an order from Hank, try to place the order on his website( i think it's the cheapest) He has 3 different shipping charge for a same part. get a quote from him over the phone will be the most expensive (that's what i did). next to his ebay store. I asked why the shipping charged was different from your website, he said he didnt realized that . But still, i paid little less than order from his web due to 5% discount.
here's my experience and sorry for the long post.

Thanks for posting your experience. Where were the fitment issues other than the hanger on the muffler? Did you get downpipes too or just from the secondary cat back?

That seems to be the tightest spot. That was where I had issues even with my 2.5" set. We're you able to get it to fit ok?

Hi jdubbya, i got it fit ok at the moment, even with the washer method, still did not lift up the pipe much. as long as it doesnt hit the cross member again, otherwise i will just remove the complete system.

I also figured out if you loosen all the hangers and slip joints you can actually move it around quite a bit. But then you have to pry it into place and tighten the hangers up.

I actually think I could have gotten mine to fit fine without adding the washers on the factory hanger if I'd have figured that out first. I may end up going bigger anyway later.

Late reply, so you may have this all figured out, but in your original pictures I noticed that you mounted your hangar bracket underneath the tranny mount and upside down. It should be mounted on top; red side to the sky. If you mount it on top this will give you more than enough clearance.
