It has been a while and it was late at the end of the day at the end of the week and I do not recall exactly what occurred regarding return of the old parts. I don't recall if I asked for them; however, I was advised to leave the car windows cracked all night in order to help dissipate the smell of gas and I am certain trying to carry those parts would have been awkward.

As I said, this is not the first time iAUTOHAUS has done this stunt regarding Cayenne fuel lines et al. They've a reputation including previous confrontation in a similar manner but I did not ask the specifics when I was told how I had been cheated.

Truly, this has stressed me too much for too long.

I will be posting about this on my own blog so that others may be advised.

Had iAUTOHAUS completed the BBB process and prevailed, I would have accepted that. But iAUTOHAUS withdrew from the process once a formal hearing was scheduled. As their Service Manager Gary (referring to iAUTOHAUS's BBB Response) had demanded some sort of conference earlier, I think if iAUTOHAUS had any sincerity whatsoever they would have participated in the BBB process.

Boss it seems like there was a misunderstanding. All they changed where the fuel pumps and the necessary parts that go along with it. If they did change all of the fuel lines be happy that the charges are not on the invoice. Let it go man they did a good job in one day.

You are upsetting the ending and your comments are NOT constructive. Stay out of it.

The facts are this outfit has a bad reputation and if they had a modicum of integrity they would NOT have lied to me and they would have completed the BBB process.

Sir you would have lost the BBB hearing is my .02. They did everything on the invoice in a timely manner. The way the customer interprets what is said is not the shops or the techs fault.

i would have to agree with previous poster gr8ful! after a bbb hearing i believe you would have come out on the losing end. seeing the work that was performed on invoice and explanation it really is a simple misunderstanding of explanation of technical terms. what you paid doesn't seem unfair for the work that was performed and i as much as you may want to believe you have been wronged you may find it difficult to gather sympathy from fellow owners.

You simply wrote, "Has anyone on the forum had their Cayenne's 'Fuel Line(s)' go bad and need replacing?" Are you building this case purely based on this? It appears to be a common problem for our vehicles and have seen posts about it (this forum definitely has multiple posts about it).

I am having difficult time understanding what the issue is. Regardless of what the tech. said, it clearly states on the receipt what was replaced, and you agreed to pay the amount.

So, do you still have the same problem with the vehicle? If you still have a problem with the vehicle and the repair shop refuses to work on it for whatever reasons, then this can be an issue but I just don't see it.

Not sure if the issue has been sorted out...GL regardless...

If the invoice is what was done ....that's all correct.
1 fuel pump out....the other is recommended also. You have to remove FPR and fuel filter to get to the pumps. They have to be removed...and with your mileage, recommended to be replaced also. Price doesn't seem bad at all also
