305/40/22

I am having 265/40/22 tires now in my 04 CTT, and looking to buy a new set of tires for my SUV. I wonder is anyone out there having 305/40/22 tire on their SUV now. How is it? Thanks

Go 305 35 22, the 40 series is going to be too big.

Thanks LV_V. Will go for that. I mainly want to have more air to ride on so the ride can be comfortable than what I have now. Thanks again.

+ 1... I have 305/35/22 and will never go back to 285/35/22. FWIW, the 305/35/22 is also 1" larger in overall diameter than stock wheels so you have a little more meat in the sidewalls.

Do you run 305's on all 4 corners?

I was looking at 295x30x22 and was told that those would already be a tight fit on the fronts. Are your wheels 22x10.5? What is your offset?

My 305 tires are larger in overall diameter and much wider on 22x10 ET45 rims. To be fair though, I have yet to hear of anyone running tires this wide on a 958; not to imply that is not a moot point.

Understood. The Vorsteiner VSC-101 I'm looking at are 22x10.5 ET 60. Probably will just go with the 295x30x22 tires. Thanks for all the info though!
