E81 Powerkit

I have a question for anyone who has performed the E81 conversion on a 955 turbo cayenne. I have a 2003 cayenne turbo with tune and larger intercoolers and wanted to find out if the turbo S intake and throttle body is a direct bolt on to my car, or are there special modifications needed.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the TB is a little smaller on out models. If you search RM did this conversion on his CTT.

The IE81 conversion as per TSB 1001 does not require the throttle body or the air intake to be replaced.

As for the induction changes, only the intercoolers and charge pressure pipes are replaced, along with DME reprogramming.

The throttle body didn't change on the 955s. The 957s did get a bigger throttle body with the "S". I have Kent's old 957 intake to see if I can adapt a larger throttle body and the manifold to my 955. Haven't had any time to dig into it, but the throttle body is the easy part, they are all interchangeable with the same electronics, even the larger 957 S is the same.

Mine is an '05 with the iE81which is why I thought about increasing the throttle body. It's the next restriction in getting any more power out of mine.

There is a IE81 retrofit for the 955 and another IE81 retrofit for the 957. The 955 IE81 will be much different than the path I took. It involves much more like new air shocks, intercoolers, etc. However, it does not have the 84mm TB of the 957 IE81/Turbo S.

Thought it was an 82mm throttle body / y-pipe plenum / intake manifold? Or was it 83mm? Maybe it was 84mm. Lol the world may never know!
