Air bag error on cluster

So I have the amber airbag error lit up on the cluster, and am looking for ways I can troubleshoot. Had this issue for a bit but only now do I have a bit of time.

From looking at threads, it looks like often the connections under seats get loose, so want to check them first. I know how to lift the driver seat, but can someone tell me how to lift the passenger seat (front)? It has the dvd compartment under it in case that makes difference.

Also, If you have additional places to check (aside of: take it to the dealer), I will greatly appreciate. Thanks.

The passenger seat does not tilt back like the driver seat. You have to remove 4 10 XZN (triple square) bolts to unseat the entire seat.

Also, it is worth it to pull the exact error code before removing the passenger seat. It is not terrible, but a pain.

And yes, the most likely culprit is the passenger seat airbag connector.

Sorry for delayed response...with Christmas break and all.
The errors via Durametric are 1627 and 1321.
I know the book would tell you to disconnect battery before checking the pass side switch, but is it really required? I mean unscrew the seat and reseat connections as a first check.
Also, if things do break down under that seat, what typically does break? Looking for possible culprits.

Thank you again.

If you read the FSM airbag caution section it talks about those connectors and which ones are ok to disconnect. IIRC, there are certain connectors you aren't supposed to mess with.🎆

The battery is a no-brainer!🎆🎆

Went to take a look and removed 2 triple square bolts from front rails that the pass seat is on. Removed 2 triple square bolts from rear of pass seat on the floor (not the rail ones). After those 4 bolts, the seat still not coming up. Don't want to force to break trim etc. hat am I doing wrong?
