Background: Installed Fabspeed Secondary Catbypass Pipes, new Mass Air Flow Sensor and aFe air filter (non-oil) in the last week. CEL light came on and I ran the Durametric resulting in P1109 and P1090 fault codes.

P1109 - Evaporative emission system leak detected (large leak) - Upper limit value exceeded, test conditions are not completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

(From prior threads, this fault can be 1. Heavily soiled throttle; 2. Throttle adjusting unit faulty; or 3. MAF sensor faulty)

P1090 - Evaporative emission system leak detected (small leak) - Upper limit value exceeded, test conditions are not completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light

I'm assuming that since I just replaced the MAF, that is not the issue. Thus, I'm assuming that the problem is with the throttle. I just cleaned the throttle body assembly with cleaner and a cloth. Hopefully this takes care of the problem and the CEL doesn't return.

What else could be the problem if the same codes return?
