Pirelli 295-35-21 - wearing REALLY fast

I have 295-35-21 Pirelli tires on my 08 turbo and I can't seem to keep the tread on them. It is not like I am doing burnouts or tracking the car - has anyone else experienced this? I just put 2 BRAND new tires on March 23rd and 2 months later and maybe 3k miles, the dealer is saying they are getting low enough to consider replacing them... (6-32)

I don't know if it is just the tire size but this is insane how fast they are wearing...

thoughts?

Damn that sux. I know low pro's wear fast but not that fast. I was considering going 21's but only for a summer tire.

Most the tires in this size have a low treadware rating. If you had it aligned in normal mode and do most of your driving in low this has a big impact on inner tread wear as the factory alignment settings are kinda aggressive. The factory power bias favors the rear and can transmit 100 percent to the rear wheels. The Psm uses the brakes for traction control and this in turn produces tire scrubbing and brake wear. The pig is heavy. Some tires have a softer compound on the inner and outer tread blocks which doesn't help.

I think you would have been just as happy with the Vred's or Nokians.
