04 cayenne S resonator delete

New to the forum and to the Porsche world. Just purchased a 955s down in South Carolina. Anyways, my plan is to delete the resonator and change to OEM quad tips. I have heard that the vehicle will run lean. I was wondering if anyone has done this or know anything about it.

Looking for a more "throaty yet raspy" sound for cheap. Not looking to change anything on the engine, at this time. Thanks in advance!

Are you referring to secondary cat deletes. Many have done with good results. Not sure if you have priced tips but they are up there.

I looked under the truck and found out that i have no resonator. All i have is cats by the headers i guess, and h pipe and then the massive muffler in the rear. Any ideas?

I don't want to take the muffler off but want it a little louder. thanks!

Search. Remove the tip and put in a flex pipe into the muffler on each side. The oem pipe in the muffler have holes in it to muffler the sound. This way you bypass most of the muffler.

Or do what I did. Had a shop weld a pipe from the inlet to the tip piping.

Sounds great. Low and no drone.
