Hi, just got a nice 2009 Cayenne GTS, but it is a bit light on features and needs some upgrades. Here are a few questions:

It doesn't have cruise control. Can this be retro fitted?

It has the Sport exhaust but doesn't have a Sport button (it has sport, normal and comfort suspension though), so there is no way to make it "noisy". Does anyone else have that, and can a switch be added, or do I have the ring end of how this works?

If I push the phone button on the PCM3 it says function not available. Can this be added? I want Bluetooth and MP3 input etc

 

It doesn't have the Cruise control lever under the wheel? I thought that was standard on most cars. Looks like you are wanting a lot of features that IMO will not be cost effective.

 

Well I think I have some answers.

The cruise control can be added for about £600. This is a maybe.

The Sport exhaust seems to cut in on the last quarter of the accelerator. The pedal feels a little different and the sound changes. Maybe wrong?

The PCM3 is a real let down. Can't even change it to miles from kilometres? Doesn't have full postcodes but this can be upgraded for a "special" price of £150. To add the iPod/MP3 files input to the centre console is a £650 accessory. Need to get the phone module added for £1400 before adding Bluetooth at another £450. And it will still be old fashioned and horrible. Will proberbly rip it out and put something more modern in. A full upgrade to modern unit with Apple Airplay intergrated in with full steering wheel control will be less than £1700.

Other than that I am loving the car. Beautiful to drive, real fun round the bends and nifty down the straights. 😎
