the '04 production shouldn't have any problem...

regarding to your brake noise...
my friend back in SF, just bought a Cayenne S... his brakes makes noise aswell... I think its normal...

my 996TT's brakes used to made a lil noise too, but now is gone...
well its either my exhausts are too loud now, or is just gone after a while....

my dealer changed the brakepad to a new one, they had a recall on that, it didnt make noise for a while, after a few washes, it came back again...

this morning he told me that he is getting another new brakepad and will install it for me on monday. hopefully the problem is solved.

There seems to be quite a few Cayenne's around Cambridgeside area lately. I saw a red one the other day turing down Binney Street. Was it anyone on the board? Nice ride!

I was in a silver M5.

MSindi,

We miss you and your car around here. I miss the 4am wake-ups by your exhaust.
