Air Con in-op, control panel?
Air Con in-op, control panel?
Hello to everyone! Well, I've just bought a 2003 S V8 with a few issues, one of which is constant hot air from the air con... No matter what you set the controls to, it's hot air from every vent, the vents all seem to produce the same air flow too, altering direction seems to make no difference.
So, I have Foxwell diagnostics, initially had multiple fault codes, cleared them, ran air con for a while, and the three codes that won't clear are:
538 Reference Voltage
709 Sun sensor
1592 Air Quality sensor.
I can run the test for all the vent servos, and nothing appears to be moving, nor can I hear any servos moving. I can run a calibration, which it states as completed. If I try put the flaps in service position, nothing moves either.
Fan speed works, panel icons appear for Econ, vent/air direction, system has been regassed this morning, so have I got a faulty climate panel/unit or something else?
Many thanks in advance.
Mark
