WOW! Thrill ride in a CTT.

Stopped by the dealer today to ask about my squeaking brakes and the cost of an oil change... was bs'ing with the sales mgr. and he offered a test drive in an 06 CTT. I said yes.

Ok, I actually have mixed reactions. It is soooo cool having the power, it's nearly indescribable how you stab it and it takes a sec to get wound up and then becomes 50% centrifuge and 50% locomotive. Pulls like a mf. period.

However... is the CTT constructed from 100% lead? The car literally feels 1000 pounds heavier than my V6, I know it's not... but it feels like it. The toys are so cool... the air suspension, the color display, the PCM Nav... all too cool. I'd LOVE to see a skidpad comparison between a V6 with 20" Design's and a CTT with Design's... I swear the V6 feels more "gokartish".

But da*n, no doubt about it, that car is the complete package.

Oh well, I have to get back to work so I can affor my '08 CTT

Ok first you want to put an American engine on the Cayenne's. Now you think the V6 can handle better than the Turbo? haha jsut messing with you ....

Well, I used to own a 6 and an S, i agree the 6 feels more nimble, but try adding all the options on the CTT on your V6 the CTT is heavier than the V6 for sure curb weight for V6 is 5000lbs, CTT 5724 lb what a pig!, lol

I keep trying to think of sufficient adjectives!!

And tbh, of course it handles great... just feels a lil heavier than v6.

Considering off-road capable vehicles:

Touareg is 5825 lbs
G55 is 5540 lbs
