Muleears is infamous around these parts
New member from Southeast Virginia, USA

Hello all, I am looking forward to being an active member of the forum. This past saturday I brought home my newest baby, a 2008 S with 136K, Made the 100 mile drive home without a problem. I will have questions as time goes by, I'll try not to be a pest. I know the search button is my friend. I have owned many cars, most recently Mercedes and BMW, I've been a member of forums for those cars as well. I'll close for now, don't want to wear out my welcome! I need to search for some info on starter problems and equipment the GTS is supposed to have standard. I suspect mine is an S in GTS clothing. It has the badges but I don't know that it has the right equipment for a GTS. Fortunately I knew this before I bought. Thanks in advance. I'll post a pic soon.

Thanks Cpa4S. It doesn't have either of the items you mentioned. It doesn't have HID's either. It does have the 4.8. I was pretty sure it wasn't, but what you have shared with me verifies it. It's actually a pretty plain Cayenne. It does have a nice aftermarket Pioneer Radio/GPS/DVD/phone system though! Now if I can just sort out the starter and evap. system issues I'll be very happy. I have a Foxwell NT520 Pro code reader which I have upgraded to include Porsche software so I can read *most* of the codes I'll need. I have a couple I'll need interpreted as they didn't come across as standard error codes (PXXXX), they were 5 digit codes that the reader said needed to be looked up in a manual. Such as "29316". I believe they were related to the electrical system. Thanks again, I appreciate the information.
