Already done, will post back what I hear.
That is a hell of a deal for exhaust, turbo, intake, and ECU upgrade.

A hell of a deal compared to RUF and the Factory, but at $17k large it isn't cheap. Also I believe they are talking about 600HP at the crank only (which is about 450-480HP at the wheels) and not at 4 wheels. 600HP at the wheels is serious stuff if they can do that.

Agreed. I would bet it is at the wheels.

From reading on the site they are quoting power at the crank. Is it worth $17k for 150HP more? I actually think the Powerkit from the factory seems like a better deal now because at least it includes, bigger intercoolers, bigger brakes, better suspension, ecu upgrade and more!

From what I see, GIAC/Revo ECU plus Fabspeed cat bypass and cold air intake gets about 520hp for roughly $2800 - seems like a far greater deal to me.

After all the complains from Viper owners they decided to switch to Porsches now? No wonder. IMHO anybody who will prefer RUF over Hennessy will end up with better value/$$$ and less headache.

Who knows. Thought it was interesting though. Hard to call RuF a value when its double the price for less horsepower though.

I do not know if Hennessey has worked out his customer service issues since the earlier viper days but I remember reading about how bad he was in that department. I have seen sotries where cars sat at his shop while having parts sold off the car and nothing put on for months. I am sure if you search around you can dig them up. I would stick to a reputable porsche tuner instead of a non reputable viper tuner!

I normally never post here in the SUV section but in seeing that name "Hennessey" on the header sent a tingle through my spine. I plead with anyone even thinking of sending a dollar to that crook, don't do it! I know so many people that personally got ripped off by that guy I would have to write a three page list. At some point there were even criminal charges filed against him. If I told you guys the stories you litterally wouldn't believe them (like how he asked a customer to "forward" him the cost of the full Venom 650R package (with aero, brakes and all) when he first offered it (about $50,000 worth of mods)) The customer, which lived five states away flat bedded his brand new Viper GTS and the $50K....fast forward ONE year he still hadn't gotten his car back (or money; $50,000), so he sent a driver out there to pick up his car...when the driver got their he noticed the hood, front bumber, steering wheel (with airbag), wheels, and a few other factory parts had been taking off this brand new Viper...NON of the Venom 650R conversion had been performed either. A big civil law suit ensued for the $50,000 and parts that hennessey had taken off the owners car. I don't know what the net result of the case was....but i do know he had and HAS many many other pending civil cases against him...if you don't believe this simply contact the Better Business Bureu in Hennessey Motorsports region. The case mentioned is actual and factual, is started with Vipers...if you visit Viperclub.org (the most visited viper owner site) you will notice even his very name has been banned from the site. There were many death threats too...the moderators prevented him (in his interest and others) from ever joining that site again. (which he tried to do in different names and was consequently banned again) I don't want to see anyone on this forum whom isn't informed on this grade-A snake in the grass to be harmed financially and psychologically by getting ripped off.

...good luck to everyone on here looking to mod up their Cayenne's....go to one with a great reputation, I would expect no less of my Porsche tuner.

Here is the response I received from John Hennessey:
Looking to find out more info on your 600HP program. I currently have a 2004 CTT that needs a little more passing gear.
Can you tell me some specs on the turbo's and the ECU upgrades? Does the $17.5K price include labor?

THE COMPUTER INCREASES BOOST FROM 12 PSI TO 16 PSI. THE COMPRESSOR HOUSINGS ARE MODIFIED ON THE STOCK TURBOS WITH BIGGER UNITS. THE PRICE INCLUDES LABOR.

What is the wheeled HP after mods?

WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CHASSIS DYNO THE CAR DUE TO IT BEING AWD.
