Smoke testing, LDP vaccum line and surrounding area...

wIth 127k miles.
So i back here behind right wheel well as i want to smoke the vaccum system beginning at the ldp and i find this long clear hose (the long hose you see in the pic going straight down) not connected to anything, what should it connect to and what is its purpose? If someone can please enlighten me I would be very grateful.
The hose pointing straight down towards the caliper is not connected to anything
