i think the car that has the red on the outside is because of the mods are from Gemballa.(thats why the sticker ,enigne compartment ,etc are red)we all should ask Gemballa designer.i might say now the red on the outside is something over-doing.maybe this is the first time we see that.time goes by,we may use to it.
from what i can see,the car will be turned on after putting some Gemballa logo on it.
Chong Qing is not small, but not as big as Beijing or Shanghai. The city is not bad at all but I wouldn't say it's a rich city in China. It is not easy to see something like Gemballa GT700 on the street. Trust me, you can certainly get the top gas if you really want them, but it is hard to find premium gas if you just drive on the street. I have been there few times and I only saw #97 gas(US#89) at the most. There are few station has #98 gas(US#91) but there are no more than 5 stations like this in the whole city. Well, for such a well tuned Cayenne Turbo I can not think of using non premium gas....

i personally know a few casino vips from chongqing.and they all have at least one S600..i have friend in smaller smaller city other than chongqing who bought M5 for $200k dollars when it frist came out.
so i dont think it is that hard to explain\
MAn,asian is all the same, they all spend money on the exterior...you can see too many Rolex.(but not even including the replaca ones.)
  1. Chongqing is the largest of china's four provincial level municipalities
the citis are:Beijing,Shanghai, chong qing, and Tian jing.
  1. It has the population of 32,355,000.
  2. It can be divided into 40 subdivisions: 15 districts, 4 cities and 21 counties
  3. There are 1502 town and township offices and sub-district offices in the city.
i cant image how big that"city" is....
SORRY to ALL of other users.i was out of the topic.tell me who will pay attention to something like if i say first Gemballa Gt whatever arrive in Houston,Chicago?(songs better than NYC and LA?)

Yup, I have heard many of the guys there like the S600 and the 760Li. unlike this heavy mod GT700, they prefer exterior more the the performance most of the time, so the beast really surprised me. I know the owner had a M6 shipped last yr around June, but we won't get it till May 06! Can't believe we get a car almost 1 yr later!

However, he paid $260K for that black M6, for that much money I rather wait....

BTW, do u have MSN? Glad to talk to you here.

It looks nice all in all. But the red trim makes it look like it has an infection.

i would say the red tape is just protective film. I still have the blue film on my brake and gas pedals.. too lazy to take them off.

A cayenne for china is not uncommon. A lot of HK people drive cayenne turbos to China for work. I;ve contemplated bringing my Cayenne S to China, but the roads aren't good for 22" rims and there is the risk of theft.

To drive a high profile car in China is always unwanted attention. There are gangs out there that target expensive cars and crash into them, hoping to extort some money. Plus the probability of kidnapping.

I live in HK but work most of the week in China.
