red somehow represents the people republic of china in some ways.thats right.however what is the reason you think about that red is fugly have something to do with China.white, black or even asian like white, black or even red on exotic cars.Am i right?
i think the car that has the red on the outside is because of the mods are from Gemballa.(thats why the sticker ,enigne compartment ,etc are red)we all should ask Gemballa designer.i might say now the red on the outside is something over-doing.maybe this is the first time we see that.time goes by,we may use to it.
from what i can see,the car will be turned on after putting some Gemballa logo on it.

i would say the red tape is just protective film. I still have the blue film on my brake and gas pedals.. too lazy to take them off.
A cayenne for china is not uncommon. A lot of HK people drive cayenne turbos to China for work. I;ve contemplated bringing my Cayenne S to China, but the roads aren't good for 22" rims and there is the risk of theft.
To drive a high profile car in China is always unwanted attention. There are gangs out there that target expensive cars and crash into them, hoping to extort some money. Plus the probability of kidnapping.
I live in HK but work most of the week in China.
