H&R springs

H&R springs.
I am not really crazy about the drop. i wish it would sit another 30mm
lower. The car is lowered by 40mm and still find the gap to be pretty huge
with 22" Wheels. Anyone has tried any other solution? I do not have
air suspension like most do. What are my alternatives.
please advise.

GoldenPEPPA is infamous around these parts
Your ONLY alternative is a set of COIL-OVER springs and mounts... it's about $3500 and will allow you to run as low or lower than AIR and maintain a consistent spring rate.

nah. i don't think i want to spend about 3.5k on top of what i spend with intstallation and springs. I guess I should just not worry and just use that money for other stuff.

thanks Mr. GoldenPeppa.

Raja,
If I am not mistaken H&R has at least two or three dead coils in there springs. Theoretically you could cut one or two of those out without effecting the ride quality of the regular part of the spring, this would lower the ride hiegth more and the only downside would be the spring may be a little loose when the suspension is unloaded ie in the air. I have also installed the H&R's with the same dissapointment, haven't yet removed them to do this mod, but intend to at some point. I figure if it screws up these springs, I still have the factory ones.
