Hard to compare a 5,000 lb. truck with a 12 second car...

Great video...I really enjoyed it!
Was obvious the CLS get better acceleration...still damn fast for a SUV.
I was able to see how much the limiter is bad...the car stopped like crazy!

Thanks Denstoyz

Yeah - the owner of the CLS just called on a Kleeman upgrade today that will add 100hp and get rid of that stupid governor

Not really surprising, CLS 55 is not slow..here's the spec. you need a GT700 CTT to keep up with this..

CLS55 specs
car and driver
0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, 0 to 100 in 9.8, the quarter-mile in 12.6 at 114

edmunds always low numbers.LOL
CLS55 is one of the fastest cars we've ever tested. Sixty miles an hour, an insignificant milestone for this car, goes by in just 4.6 seconds. By 12.7 seconds, you're through the quarter-mile doing over 111 mph

SWEET!!! never thought the out come would be that close... basically the Cayenne needed time to spool up and then it held the CLS around 5-8 car length... i raced my buddy's M3 SMG once... and guess what the out come was... Side by side all the way to 130mph from standing still... cool how these 6000lb (inc. driver and fuel) can keep up with cars weighing 2000lb less and more HP...

Thanks for sharing. It's interesting to see a comparison betweeen these two cars. The CTTs held up pretty good. In the higher speeds the acceleration does slow down though compared to the Cls 55, but that isn't much of a surprise.
