Kahns are excellent looking wheels and very well finished. Very soft though as I have dented one of them more than once. Had to change it eventually as I was worried that it had weakend. Same thing happened to me on another set of 22"s I had on my previous Range Rover so it might not just be Kahns that are soft!
$1640 in the UK though is very expensive for a wheel and tyre. Think I may shop around a bit next time or import them if it saves some money!

I'm sure once you go to 22" no road is smooth enough. That's one of my main concerns. Although the roads here in Los Angeles are overall okay, I spend most of my time during the week days near downtown where there are quite a bit of pot holes. So I think i might go with the 20" Sport Technos... Still can't really decide.

I think the sport technos with the right spacer to fill out the arch would look great! I was planning to do this for the winter time but havent found out what spacer to fit yet.

All,

A good resource to measure the difference a tire size will make is:

http://1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Check it out...

Personally, a 285/35 tire makes more sense in terms of comfort and protection, however the 295/30 closely matches the speedometer settings from factory.

Excellent link.
Its interesting that the 295 is pretty close in terms of circumference to the original tyre size compared to 285 but I agree that comfort level will be better with the greater side wall of the 285.

Thanks for the pics... a few questions.
1. which height is it at in the pics and can you drive in that height?
2. what size wheels are those?

Thanks!!!
