I can get the IPOD to work...it powers and charges it and everything seems fine, what is the configuration of the dip switches, and did you upgrade the firmware...

FFR996, I haven't done the update yet but here is the link:

There is a good pictorial installation description on Rennlist Cayenne forum.

 

You should set dip switches in position equal Cayenne. Can find in manual.

I was told the ones on the instructions are not right. And its seeing the CD Changer but the Cd is not working.

As for the IPOD I can't get mine to work..

 

Hello! If you do not have cd changer - in some cases IceLink will not start work without activation, same like original CD changer should be activated with system tester in some cases.

as shown on page 2 and everything connected propertly - may be device broken, or Ipod to old, I do not know, let me chek some when I'll take Icelink once again. Cd changer works ok?

yes I spoke to Dension and they said unplug the CD Changer .... I'll get that done later and report ...

 

Can yo u tell me anything about the interface - how things appear on your Nav screen, do you lose function/controls ON your iPod when connected, how fast can you scroll through artists (like on an 80GB iPod full for instance)?
