Turbo Power Kit Option (E-81) :
  • 500 hp - Larger intercoolers - Upgraded ECU
  • - Larger Brakes
  • Front - 6 piston w/ 2 piece 380 mm discs
  • Rear - 4 piston w/ 358 mm discs
  • Upgraded Chassis and software for the air suspension
  • The E81 Power Kit was only manufactured on 2005 Cayenne Turbos and is compared to the X50 package on a 911 Twin Turbo.
It is a prelude to the current Cayenne Turbo S. This SUV is as close to a Cayenne Turbo S as you can get without the current $93,000+ used price tag. This E81 package was an option of $19,900. This 2005 Cayenne Turbo = 500hp and 5.3 sec from 0 - 62mph ..... the 2006 Cayenne Turbo S = 520hp and 5.2 sec from 0-62mph.

Not exactly accurate info.
Brakes on new turbo have been "redesigned".
The difference between the disc dimaters on the old turbo, turbo S and new turbo are:
Old Turbo - Front 13.78in Rear 12.99in.
Old Turbo S - Front 14.96in. Rear 14.09
New Turbo - Front 14.49in and Rear 14.09 (both with slightly different caliper hats too supposedly)

So in answer to the original posters question - yes the front disc diameter on the Turbo S is .47in larger while the rears are the same size as the new Turbo.

Love the sinister look, good taste in mods. How is the fit and finish on the Rinspeed piece? Direct bolt on or did it require body work? Fiberglass? Once again, great looking ride!!!

I am 110% happy with rinspeed. I amazed everyday on the tires and wheels.

I have 315/25/23. Looks like a rubbe band around a rim. Never had a blowout or bent rim.

Just put about 400lbs of stuff in the back the other day and drove about 50 miles. No problems at all. Keep 45psi in all 4 tires.

Complete the look with driver passenger window tinting and black tailpipes.
