Transmission and Alarm trouble?

I have two things that may be wrong with my 2004 CayenneS and was wondering if anyone else had the same issues.

1. In the morning sometimes when I go out to my car and hit the unlock button it just keeps locking. I have to actually unlock the trunk and then hit the unlock after that and then it clicks over. Am I doing something wrong?

2. When I start driving and the car is still cold it takes forever for the car to shift into second and when it finally does it shifts HARD! Sometimes it ever grinds.

Anyone else have similiar expierences?

Dave

Try waiting a really long time to unlock the vehicle. If the remote is pressed too quickly, that is normally, then the Cayenne will keep locking. But if the interval is increased to an extremely annoying amount, then it will work okay.

Really?

Maybe I'll just try and warm the car up before I leave.

You guys really even hear a grind?

I hear what actually sounds like a grind when it shifts...it shifts hard. I have to have the radio off to hear it because its slight and quick.

Doesn't sound too normal.

The same thing happens to me if when I don't allow my car to warm up on cold days (but without the grind).
As for the other problem: I have the entry and go system, but when I do press the buttons on the key it takes a bit of time to communicate with the car.

I have the keyless entry option on my car too and I do not get any problems with it. I guess ask the dealer? I don't that is supposed to happen.
