'08 Floor Mats

So I finally received floor mats today for my MY08 Cayenne. The rear ones fit perfect but the ones in front are weird. On the driver's side, the mat covers the dead pedal halfway (I thought it's supposed to be cut out to have the pedal exposed). On the passenger's side, the mat only covers about 80% of the area.

Any other '08 owners out there notice this? I've called the dealer and they assured me that I received the correct mats!?!?!?!

I got the V6 b/c that was all my budget allowed me to do right now. Plus I have a 996 to fill my need for speed. The new engine is quite nice and has good power - I never feel that it is "slow". It's just fine in normal mode, but in "sport" mode it's really quick. It also handles great. I also like the new facelift, although I still think the older body looks just fine.

Congrats on your Turbo!! That is awesome. Let me know if your floor mats fit right

The mats in my '08 CTT fit perfectly.

No question, they gave you the wrong mats. Either they picked the wrong part number or somebody boxed/bagged them wrong at the factory. Just stop at the dealer, pull a mat from a Cayenne in the showroom and compare.

Since I see no visible differences between my '08 CTT and '05 CS, I didn't expect any differences in the mats. When I put the '05 driver mat in the '08, they were the same except for a slightly differently shaped snap/closure post.

Thanks for the info. Just to confirm, on the driver's side does the mat cover the dead pedal at all or is it cut out nicely? On the passenger's side, does it cover the entire area where it starts sloping up?

I think this might've been a manufacturing problem b/c mine came with the right round holes (vs. the older oval holes). Good news is that my dealer will research and send me new ones!

Driver's side mat should not cover any of the dead pedal.

Is it possible you put the right one on the left side and the left one on the right side?
