I can post some pics from the dealer, but don't know how. 'Lil help! Newbie here! I've been reading lots of threads about performance mods, but it seems like most deal with the turbos. Are there mods to increase HP for the S? I'm not a gearhead - just a long time Porsche admirer. BTW, a turbo 911 is 'the dream' but 3 kids and a boat would be hard to take on the road, so CS for now. I drove my FIRST turbo last night - 2001 996TT with uprgraded CPU. 12 hours later I'm still smiling and my nads haven't come down yet.

Congrats on your purchase! I already ordered my first 2 mods- clear side markers and wheels. I think next will be the lowering arms for the air suspension.

Will performance mods void the factory warranty? What are realistic expectations for a modified '05 S in terms of HP? What is the stock HP of an '05 S??

I believe I read that the GIAC Ecu upgrade is "undetectable". Apart from that, I think any other upgrades that are available are obviously aftermarket. But as far as if they void the warranty, I don't know.

I finally figured out how to upload pics. So, here are some pics of my ride. Enjoy. I know these are dealer pics, but I'm not much of a photog.

Just bought my first mods today - nothing big yet. Took the molded front license plate area off the front bumber so order 4 bumper plugs and 2 keyhole plugs (both in black). Also ordered the silver crest for the hood and clear side markers. Will post pics after installed. Looking into ecu upgrade soon. Also painted the dingey trailer hitch black. Thanks TK! (colorinc).
