My buddy just picked up a 2008 Cayenne S. The car was ordered for someone but they ended up not taking delivery of the car so it was pretty heavily optioned. The sticker ended up being 78k. I was talking to my friend about what he leased it for and he said he put 8k down and is paying 1300 a month. This is for 42 months 12k miles a year. I thought it sounded pretty high.

Im not familiar with porsche leasing at all.

hmmm... just think after 42 months he's out 63k with nothing. ouch!

 

Don't get it. Why would he not just buy the car with a loan?

 

first we dont know his credit score, what leasing company etc. if he had a trade..

at 8K down you'll be at 70K... us bank rate A credit is .00202 with a residual of 56% 36 months.. that's already $1075/month + tax.. so it's pretty accurate if he went thru Porsche which lease rate is about .00330

he'll be at $1160/month + tax with Porsche 36 months.. but this is 36 months he's probably not tier 1 credit..we need to know the facts..

 

made sense if he's like u cuz in 42 month he'd have about 24 cayennes.
