Brakes Workshop Light Came on

So tonight the "Brakes Workshop" notice popped up on the display. I read in a previous post that there are sensors that need to be replaced with your brakes. I guess that rules out a d-i-y job. How much am I going to be looking at for new pads/sensors?

pads and sensors are both very easy to replace. check with sunset porsche for pricing. seems like it was 250-350 for all?

chances are that you will have to do the rotors too.

rotors are 32mm thick and the tolerance is 1mm of wear, front and rear. SO if you feel any lip on the rotor, they're shot. Nice of Porsche to give us pencil eraser pads and easy-bake rotors (from toys-r-us).

suncoast porsche can sell you frt pads and rotors with sensors for <$400.

Or perhaps try an aftermarket rotor/pad like a Zimmerman/Hawk Ceramic Pad combo for $277 + sensor($20).

I dropped an inquiry off to suncoast. Thanks for the info guys. I checked out the rotors and there is no lip. They all look pretty dang good.
