The tool used to spray the soap is the foam gun, its great especially for bigger vehicles.

I saw that foam gun on the site and was really interested in seeing it work. Did you find that it eats up the soap very fast and you have to add more before the vehicle is done? I had a cheap generic thing that was supposed to foam everything up and it would either spray watered down or eat the soap before I was finished.

DJ,

Thanks! I'm not that good

Blackctsv,

The foam gun does use alot of soap however it will not need to be reloaded ..it does make a the task of washing a beast like this go by much faster, there is a learning curve but it's a fairly quick one.

Looks great!
So the foam gun is the only thing you use to get the soap on and then just rinse?

depending on how clean the car is you can just spray and rinse but I typically would use a wash mitt to agitate some of the dust and dirt out.

On this one I definitely used some wash mitts on it to clean it up.

You really have to see the car in person to appreciate how amazing of a work it is. All the swirls and scratches are gone, and has a deep "consistent" shine. I had a minor body work done (Valet @ the dealer hit a tree), and there were inconsistencies in the tone from one panel to the door. Phil and his buddy noticed it before the work commenced, and now is unnoticeable.

Phil, you ARE the BEST!

BTW, I absolutely love the Sportec / Vredestein Combo. These are the stickiest tires I've tried, yet. Love the feel, lack of noise, and the performance. As far as the Sportecs, they speak for themselves.

you know what would look REALLY nice with those Sportecs?

Switch your aluminum-look trim pieces over to the Titanium Series pieces, they'd match the Sportecs and look hot.

Yes, I was thinking of having them painted to the same Anthracite color... or install carbon fiber package. Sportec makes them, but am too embarassed to even mention how much they cost.

I didn't know they made Titanium pieces. Who makes them? Thanks in advance.

It's easy they're OE Porsche parts. In 2006 Porsche released the "Titanium Edition" package which included a unique color scheme for trim parts and wheels, a nice titanium color.

Check out this post with pics of a guys new 2006 Cayenne S Ti Edition.

would look AMAZING on yours too.
