Rear Camera won't Retract

Help!

Our 2005 Cayenne Turbo has the rear camera option. Today, the rear camera decided that it liked staying out. It still works normally it just won't retract... Anyone ever have this problem before? Is there a simple fix or do I need to take it to the stealer?

TIA

I have seen this once before, go in via the PCM, push the AV button (I think) and it will bring up rearview camera. Click that with the right ****, and then go into...man...been a few weeks since I did this, but in one of them, either the on or the off, there is an option to restore factory defaults, and the one I had this fixed, hopefully it will yours as well. There is one option for on all the time(out) and one for off all the time so it never pops out, and one resets it. Man I hope this at least helps.

Thanks for the info. I was reading in the manual about putting it into manual mode like you are saying but I couldn't figure out how to do it. When I turned or pushed the right button, it didn't do anything... Funny thing is, when I got home last night and drove into the garage, the camera closed when I shut the car off!!! It had been like that all day after 3 or 4 separate trips and then it decides to close. I didn't drive it today but I'll try your suggestion if it stays open again.
