I hate to say this but its true...So I go to thouroughbred motors in Nashville,Tn today to check on a new cayenne gts. I go to a salesman seated at a desk and ask him for some order guide info on the new gts. I ask specifics on their ordering policies and the guy tells me that they arent out yet and kinda blows me off. So I tell him I preordered my last porsche and at which point he looks outside and sees my s on 22's. At this point he becomes extremely helpful and says he will check to see when the info becomes available...He wouldnt even get up from the front desk until he knew I was a porsche owner. As a 24 year old minority I've seen this all too many times at higher end car dealerships it's one of the primary reasons I got a cayenne instead of a range rover. I understand they're are alot of nonserious customers who come in to look but shouldnt all people be given a certain amount of respect when they walk in? It's insulting for me to come into your dealership to buy a fairly expensive vehicle and be treated like I cant afford it...I'm still getting my gts. It just wont come from thouroughbred. The sales staff at gossett in memphis is 100 times more helpful and courteous and will continue to recieve my business for years to come.
