TRY driving with PSM OFF...THOUGHTS?

i noticed on my turbo that if i turn the psm off the suv starts off from stop in 1st gear in D mode.!!...i also noticed that the gears "hold" themselves longer in whatever gear they are in....its like a different program/mapping of the computer almost like a "sport" button for the tranny....input? thoughts? is it ok to drive all the time like this??
thanks

The Cayenne will only start in D1 with PSM off AND if the driving tendency has been "learned" by the computer to be fast with jackrabbit starts. Otherwise it will always start in D2. If you are not interested in PSM off and want jackrabbit launches while in D mode, just manually shift the tip down while stopped leaving the gear shifter in D. This will start you in M1 then it will show D1 and then D2 and shift automatically.
