Thanks!

I am located in Dubai, UAE.

You are right - the packages are different in different regions and that's why the base prices are also different. Base prices are usually higher here because of more equipment being standard (if Porsche can get away with selling more equipment as standard and also charge for it in some regions - why not?). 2011 Cayenne Turbo starting prices is approx. US$ 130,000. Sticker for mine is $139k.

I had copied and pasted the option list as given to me by the dealer. However, upon follow up & further research, I can confirm that some of the things on that list are standard in our region for the 2011 Cayenne Turbo, such as the Full leather interior, Alcantara headliner and PDCC.

HomeLink is not standard in our region and it's approximately $250 extra.

Floor mats - well, its the same story everywhere

Heated seats are standard. Dont ask me why considering no one will use in this extremely hot & humid climate.

I'm not exactly sure how that compares to your base price and standard equipment but hope the info is helpful for your comparison

Very nice! Was that picture taken with your CTT ride height set at loading? Or can you drive it like that?

The 2011 CTT squats to low level when you park. Just to look cooler !

Love the color, hate to keep it (black) clean.

Cheers

Awesome ride, congrats 03LX470. Turbo+PDCC FTW.

In regards to Cayenne vs Panamera all I can say is the Cayenne Turbo is blindingly fast. In fact, it is a rather large let-down when I go from my Cayenne to my GT3RS. The RS feels like a turtle. No joke.

Aluminum Skid Plate

Just had the the front aluminum skid plate delivered by the courier company. Box not yet opened.

Is this a DIY job that can be handled by any general mechanical work auto shop or can only be fitted by the Porsche dealer?

Thanks

Anyone have an idea when the wheel arch extensions and lower trim will be available as a paintable option?

That will make it look much better/agressive, how about the rear?
I think that the aluminum skid plates on the front and rear, really make a HUGE difference on how this car looks. I dont understand why none of the cars spec'd by the dealers come with them (its only $1200), compared to the costs of some other options. Great car and great write up. I thought I was going to get my wife a Pan TT but your review and the other comments make me rethink. I have another year to figure it out.

Any guidance on this? Dealer's body shop says they need to remove the bumper, drill some holes, use some rivets, etc. and are looking at 4-6 hours of labor. I didnt think this would be so complicated?

Thanks guys

Best of luck. Great looking build. Can you comment on the ride with the 21" Turbo wheels. I am on the fence with them.

Thanks

Very nice. 21 inch wheels with PASM, PDCC and PTV would make the ultimate performance package. Great job. I personally settled for a slight compromise on the performance with the 20 inch wheels on the S version but did get PASM, PTV and PDCC. One question: Do you have a noise/thermal insulating glass or is that aftermarket tint.
