petrol mixed up on my cayenne s 2011

hello guys last night i had a situation where i told the guy the at the patrol station to fill up my car with super ,, but the guy instead of that filled it up with special the engine was cutting off ,, no throttle response for a while ..
but the main issue was there was a noise coming from the engine ,, but after driving for more than hour the car was ok again ,, no issues guys ?? ,, and now should i wait till it really gives me 0 range and fill it up with super again

thanks in advance

+1 for the first reply. Just be careful in future when those attendants fill it up for you.

what is your ron+mon/2?

these car's AFAIK can run on 91 perfectly fine, 91 here=mid grade, 93 is premium..

so lets say he put in 89, you can wait till half way and put in 93 and you'll only be running on 91 which is fine... and then wait and put more 93=92, then=93..

the car has sensors to check for knocking and adjust so it should relearn to the gas based on ignition.

As mentioned, would not worry about it. The computers can make the adjustments.

I often wonder how many times we fill up with 93, but only really get 91 or even 87.

Only worry on vehicles with Nikasil Liners; which you do not. I've purposely put lower grade gas if on highway only drives; does just fine.

'knock' is a long-term only issue for the engine. If occurs on occasion, it'll never know it.
